Mavericks Visit Nebraska-Kearney Tuesday

The University of Nebraska-Omaha men's basketball team plays its final nonconference game of the season Tuesday night, visiting Nebraska-Kearney. The Lopers are currently ranked No. 4 in the North Central region.
The Mavericks fell below the .500 mark for the first time since November, at 11-12, after falling last week to St. Cloud State and No. 9 Minnesota State in North Central Conference games.
The Lopers are 18-4 on the year, including a 13-2 record in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. They have won 12 of their last 13 games.
Senior forward Dusty Jura leads UNK with 19.7 points and 9.5 rebounds per game.
UNO senior guard Zac Robinson had a big week, in spite of the losses. In Thursday's game against St. Cloud, he broke the school record for career 3-point baskets, and became the 28th player to reach 1,000 career points.
Saturday against Minnesota State, Robinson set two more records, attempting a single-game record 16 3-point shots, hitting six of them. That put his season total to 86, also a record.
His career totals now stand at 1,022 points -- 24th on the all-time list -- and 238 3-pointers.
The Mavericks will return to conference action with their regular season home finale Saturday against North Dakota.
