Johnston and Robinson Earn Academic Honors

Junior Denny Johnston and Senior Zac Robinson each earned a spot on the Academic All-North Central Conference team for the second year in a row. They also earned a place on the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine All-District teams.
Johnston, a wing out of Westside High in Omaha, has been one of UNO's most consistent players this season on the court, and in the classroom. Majoring in construction engineering technology, Johnston has maintained a 3.89 GPA. His efforts landed him on the All-District Third Team, as well.
Robinson, a guard out of Millard West High in Omaha, has been breaking records from behind the 3-point arc this season, but has been just as impressive academically. Majoring in journalism, Robinson has 3.53 GPA, also getting him second-team honors on the All-District team.
Both players represented UNO on the Academic All-NCC team last year, along with then-senior Ryan Curtis.
