Eickman Named CCHA Scholar-Athlete of the Year

Senior Mike Eickman received the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award for the second straight year. The award was presented to Eickman March 15 at the CCHA Awards Banquet in Detroit, Michigan.
The defenseman from Grand Forks, North Dakota currently has a grade-point-average of 3.937 and has been on the Dean's List every semester he has been enrolled at UNO. Eickman will graduate in May with a degree in Psychology and is planning on attending the School of Dentistry at the University of Nebraska in August of 2007.
