Mavs Hit the Road Again

The Mavericks continue their travels this week, visiting Washburn for a doubleheader today, then facing Missouri Southern for three games over two days.
UNO spent its spring break in Ft. Meyers, Fla., playing five games in the Gene Cusic Classic, going 2-3. The Mavs split a pair of games with both Ashland and Wayne State (Mich.), and dropped a single game to Southwest Minnesota State.
In UNO's three-game series with Missouri Southern, the teams will be using wood bats. The Mavs played 16 games with wood two years ago, winning all of them.
UNO finally plays a home game Tuesday when the Mavs host Emporia State for a twin-bill.
