Mavericks Visit Northwest Missouri State for Two

The University of Nebraska-Omaha baseball team's home opener scheduled for Wednesday has been moved to its opponent's field because of unplayable field conditions. Instead, the Mavericks will play a doubleheader against Northwest Missouri State at 1 p.m. in Kansas City, Mo.
The Mavs (3-6) will visit Emporia State Saturday for two games, then are scheduled to open the home portion of their schedule Sunday against Fort Hays State.
The Bearcats opened their season with a three-game sweep of Arkansas Tech, but have lost six in a row since then, most recently dropping a pair of games to Montevallo.
