Mavs Continue Homestand, Face Washburn Tuesday

The Mavericks continue their season-long eight-game homestand, hosting Washburn for a doubleheader Tuesday, then opening North Central Conference play with four games against St. Cloud State Friday and Saturday.
The Mavs will then hit the road for a non-conference twin-bill at Winona State on April 9.
UNO (11-13) won its first two home games of the season last week, sweeping Emporia State in a doubleheader, 4-1 and 5-4. The Mavs avenged a previous sweep and are hoping to do so again, as the Ichabods (12-11) took two games from UNO, 5-1 and 5-4, on March 21.
Tuesday's games will begin at 1 p.m. at the Ball Park at Boys Town. The weekend series with St. Cloud State is scheduled for noon starts on Friday and Saturday. UNO will then be back on the road for a twin-bill with Winona State next Monday.
