Mavs Looking to Bounce Back Against Bulldogs

The University of Nebraska at Omaha women's basketball team will try to snap a two-game losing streak Saturday when it visits North Central Conference rival Minnesota Duluth.
UNO lost consecutive games for the first time this season after Monday's 67-63 nonconference loss to Nebraska-Kearney. The Mavs now stand at 14-3, with an 0-1 record in the NCC.
The Bulldogs are on a four-game losing streak, including three in a row in NCC play, after a narrow 80-75 loss to Augustana Thursday. UMD stands at 3-14 on the season, 0-3 in conference play.
Katy Freeman, who scored 20 points in the loss to Augie, is the team's leading scorer on the year with 14.2 ppg, adding 3.7 rpg and 1.5 steals. Kelsey Hewitt is the Bulldogs' top rebounder with 6.1 rpg, chipping in 7.8 ppg. Jacquie Hartman is scoring 7.9 ppg.
UMD has won six of eight all-time meetings with UNO, including sweeping both games last season, 78-64 in Duluth, and 60-59 in Omaha.
