Farmington Hills, Mich. -- Sophomore defenseman Eddie Del Grosso was named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association's defenseman of the week.
Del Grosso (1-3-4) scored a key shorthanded goal and assisted on both power-play goals in Saturday's overtime win at Alaska.
The Las Vegas native assisted on Bryan Marshall's power-play goal Friday night and blocked 11 shots in the weekend sweep of the Nanooks.
