UNO Visits St. Cloud State, Minnesota State

The University of Nebraska at Omaha women's basketball team will look to make a move in the rankings this week with road games against North Central Conference opponents St. Cloud State and Minnesota State, Mankato.
The Mavericks have dropped four of its last five games, but all four losses came to teams ranked in the Top 25 nationally. The win came over St. Cloud State on Feb. 2, 81-77, at Sapp Fieldhouse. The Huskies snapped a five-game losing streak with a 76-62 win over Minnesota State on Saturday, improving to 10-13 on they year, 2-6 in NCC play.
Kayla Rengel leads the Huskies with 13.6 ppg and 6.6 rpg on the year, adding 50 blocked shots. In conference play she averages 12.8 and 7.3. Rachel Booth adds 12.6 ppg and 5.5 rpg.
Minnesota State is coming off a 76-62 upset loss to St. Cloud State, knocking MSU out of the Top 25. It was the Mavericks' fourth loss in five games, dropping them to 17-6 overall, 3-5 in NCC play. MSU is still ranked sixth in the North Central region.
Heather Johnson leads the team in scoring at 16.9 ppg, adding 3.0 rpg and shooting .455 from 3-point range. Liz Trauger is the top rebounder with 6.3 per game, with Alex Andrews right behind with 6.2 per game.
UNO leads the all-time series with MSU, 29-20. The teams split last year's meetings with the home team winning each game.
