Mavericks Visit North Dakota Saturday

The University of Nebraska at Omaha men's basketball team moved up to No. 5 in the North Central Region rankings and now look to solidify its standing with a North Central Conference game at North Dakota.
After splitting two conference road games last week, defeating St. Cloud State, 99-87, and falling to first place Minnesota State, 94-82, UNO fell out of the NCAA II Top 25, receiving just one vote. However, the Mavericks moved up one spot in the regional rankings.
The Sioux are mired in a four-game losing streak, falling to No. 16 South Dakota, 91-68, Thursday night in Vermillion. North Dakota fell below the .500 mark on the year at 12-13, including seven-straight losses on the road, with a 1-9 record in conference play.
Emmanuel Little leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 15.7 and 8.2 per game. In conference action his rebounding average is 9.2 per game. With 15 points and 17 rebounds against South Dakota on Thursday, he has recorded nine double-doubles on the year. Ervin Youmans adds 14.9 ppg.
