Mavs Looking to Break South Dakota's Streak

The University of Nebraska at Omaha's women's basketball team is hoping to play spoiler Saturday when it hosts No. 6 South Dakota, who is looking for its school-record 18th win in a row.
UNO (16-6, 2-4 North Central Conference) is ranked ninth in the North Central Region after splitting its two games last week. South Dakota holds the top spot in the region, standing at 19-1 overall, 5-0 in NCC play.
Jeana Hoffman leads the conference with 18.2 ppg, also leading in 3-point shooting with 71 long-range buckets. Bridget Yoerger and Jenna Hoffman are tied for the team lead in rebounding with 6.4 per game, ranking seventh and eighth in the NCC.
The Mavericks lead the all-time series with USD, 32-30, but the Coyotes have won four in a row, including three-straight last year.
