Mavs Headed to Emporia

The Mavericks, ranked No. 6 in the most recent National Fastpitch Coaches Association Poll, are headed to Kansas on Wednesday, Mar. 12, to take on the Emporia State Hornets in a doubleheader scheduled for 2 and 4 p.m. at the Trusler Sports Complex.
The Mavs (4-1) have been out of action for the past ten days, as a doubleheader against UNK was postponed and a weekend tournament at Missouri Western was canceled due to poor weather conditions.
Following the double-dip Wednesday the Mavericks are headed south to Orlando, Fla. for Spring Break, where they will play 12 games in the Rebel Spring Games, Mar 15-20.
