Dupont Named to Scholar-Athlete Team

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Sophomore goalie Jeremie Dupont has been named to the 2007-08 Scholar-Athlete team by the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.
Dupont is now nominated for the CCHA Scholar-Athlete of the Year, an award the former Maverick defenseman Mike Eickman received both in 2005-06 and 2006-07.
The CCHA Scholar-Athlete of the Year will be chosen from among the group of nominees with the winner announced at the 2008 CCHA Awards, presented by RBC Financial Group on Thursday, March 20.
