No. 5 Mavs Open Home Slate Tuesday

OMAHA, Neb. -- The fifth-ranked University of Nebraska-Omaha softball team will open their home schedule Tuesday, Mar. 25, with a 2 p.m. doubleheader against in-state rival Nebraska-Kearney at Claussen-Westgate Field.
The doubleheader was originally scheduled to be held on Mar. 5, in Kearney, but due to poor weather conditions the games were postponed and moved.
The Mavericks (16-3) will continue their home stand on Friday, taking on North Central Conference foe, Minnesota State, Mankato in a tune up at Claussen-Westgate Field before kicking off the annual UNO Softball Classic Saturday with a tripleheader at Dill Field.
