Weather Forces Mavs to Cancel Trip to Missouri

OMAHA, Neb. - The seventh-ranked University of Nebraska at Omaha softball team's weekend tournament at Missouri Western has been canceled due to inclement weather conditions. The Mavericks, who were scheduled to play five games during the Mar. 8-9 tournament, will look to add future dates to make up for the canceled games.
UNO will take its 4-1 record on the road next week, Mar. 12, when they head to Emporia, Kan. to take on the Emporia State Hornets in a doubleheader scheduled for 2 and 4 p.m., followed by a trip to Florida, where they will compete in the Rebel Spring Games over spring break, Mar. 15-20.
