Mavs Close Home Season vs. Augustana

The 11th-ranked Mavericks will make their final regular season home appearance Wednesday when they host North Central Conference rival Augustana in a doubleheader at Claussen-Westgate Field. The first game starts at 3 p.m.
It will also mark the final home appearance for five seniors: Brianna Cataudella, Alison Jergenson, Jenifer McDowell, Chanel Reaves and all-time home run and RBI leader Leslie Svoboda.
The Mavericks, 32-6 overall and 4-0 in the league, will be trying to pad their lead in the NCC race and complete a four-game sweep of the third-place Vikings (13-16, 2-2). UNO recorded 11-4 and 12-3 wins in Sioux Falls on April 7 in the first meeting of the teams.
UNO will continue NCC action this weekend on the road, with a Friday doubleheader at St. Cloud State and a Saturday twin bill at Minnesota Duluth. Both start at noon.
