6th Mav Club to Honor Mavs on April 10

The Sixth Mav Club will honor the Maverick men's basketball team that captured the North Central Conference tournament title and set a school record with 25 wins at a year-end celebration on Thursday, April 10 at Anthony's Steakhouse, 72nd and F Streets.
The public is invited to the event, which begins at 5:30 p.m. The cost is just $10 for hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. A 6:15 program will follow.

The Mavericks finished the season 25-7, losing in the second round of the NCAA Division II tournament to eventual national champion Winona State. UNO finished fourth in the regular season in the NCC, then swept through the post-season tournament with three straight wins.
