Koca Earns NCC Pitcher of the Week Honors

Dustin Koca has been named Co-North Central Conference Pitcher of the Week which is the seventh straight week a Maverick has been honored by the conference. Koca shares the honor with Sean Cooley of North Dakota.
Koca, a senior from Papillion, Neb., struck out 14 batters of the 24 batters he faced in a complete game, two-hit win over St. Cloud State. He walked only one batter. This is the second time Koca has earned NCC honors the last was as Player of the Week on March 25.
The Mavericks will close out regular season play starting Friday at Minnesota State and then Sunday at Winona State.
