Mavericks Host NCC Baseball This Weekend

The University of Nebraska at Omaha will play host to the final North Central Conference baseball tournament, beginning Thursday. Games will be played at UNO's regular home field, the Ballpark at Boys Town, and Seymour Smith Field.
The Mavericks enter the tournament as the No. 1 seed after going 19-1 in conference play. UNO's first game will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Boys Town against the winner of the early game between Augustana and Minnesota Duluth.

UNO currently ranks No. 4 in the Central Region. Assuming the Mavericks do not fall out of the top six, they will make their fourth-straight trip to the Regional Tournament. Emporia State currently holds the top spot in the rankings, meaning it would host the tournament, starting May 15.
