LINCOLN, Neb. - The University of Nebraska at Omaha indoor track team returned to action with just its second meet of the season, the Holiday Inn Invite hosted by Nebraska. Day one of competition kicked off at the Devaney Sports Center on Friday afternoon.
Sophomore #Katie Harvey# placed eleventh in the weight throw with a toss of 45.44 feet or 13.85 meters. Teammate and fellow sophomore #Madison Haugland# placed 19th with a throw of 37.47 feet or 11.42 meters.
In the high jump, Doane College transfer #Jenna Temme# finished in sixth place with a mark of 5.08 feet or 1.55 meters.
Freshman #Maja Mihalinec# of Slovenia earned the third seed in Saturday's 60 meter dash finals with a preliminary run of 7.70 seconds.
The meet concludes Saturday in Lincoln.
