OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO hockey team begins the CCHA season on Friday night, and head coach #Dean Blais# looks ahead to the start of league competition on this week's Maverick Roundup, the official podcast of UNO athletics.
The Mavericks have had a week off following a road trip to Colgate, and Blais talks with host #Dave Ahlers# about how the break did his team good, both physically and mentally. Blais also talks about how he determines which goaltender earns his starts each week.
Maverick Roundup is a weekly program featuring player and coach interviews, game highlights and more. To access the podcast, visit the "Fan Zone" for that and much more. A new Maverick Roundup is posted each Wednesday.
