OMAHA, Neb. - The potent foot of kicker Greg Zuerlein has been a valuable weapon for the UNO football team yet again this season. Zuerlein, the reigning MIAA special teams player of the week, is a guest on this week's Maverick Roundup, the official podcast of UNO athletics.
Zuerlein is the Mavericks' leading scorer with 43 points, and he has nearly as many touchbacks as the rest of the MIAA's kickers combined. He speaks with host #Dave Ahlers# about the possibility of kicking a school-record field goal and about the return to Caniglia Field for Homecoming against Washburn this Saturday.
