Powers Talks About Soccer Playoffs on Maverick Rou

OMAHA, Neb. - UNO senior forward Jessica Powers is part of a rare group of athletes. She can lay claim to having played in the NCAA playoffs in each of her four years in college. She and the Mavericks will make their eighth straight appearance overall on Friday, and Powers talks about that string in this week's Maverick Roundup, the official podcast of UNO athletics.
Powers, a converted defender, talks about the switch to forward, a position she hasn't played since high school and about her team's focus on the postseason. The Mavericks will play MIAA foe Truman State on Friday, Nov. 13 at 12 p.m. in Canyon, Texas.
