Mavericks In at 19th in Latest Poll

OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO hockey team is ranked 19th in the latest Division I college hockey poll released on Monday. The Mavericks, who lost two games at Northern Michigan last weekend, are now 5-4-3 and 2-4-2-1 in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.
UNO came it at 19 in the latest USCHO.com poll, down seven spots from last week. The Mavericks were in the "Receiving Votes" category in the latest USA Today/USA Hockey poll. The latter poll only ranks the top 15 teams.
The Mavericks also come in at 19 in the power rankings assembled by InsideCollegeHockey.com. That's down from ten a week ago.
UNO returns home to host Western Michigan on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 27 and 28. Friday's game starts at 7:35 p.m. while Saturday's game begins at 7:05 p.m. Tickets for both games are on sale at the Sapp Fieldhouse box office and at the Qwest Center box office.
