Mavericks Still Receiving Votes In Weekly Hockey P

OMAHA, Neb. - In spite of two close losses to #12/13 Ferris State last weekend, the UNO hockey team continues to garner votes in the weekly Division I college hockey polls. The Mavericks begin the week with a record of 7-6-3 and 4-6-2-1 in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.
The Mavs were in the "Also Receiving Votes" category in both the USCHO.com weekly poll and the USA Today/USA Hockey poll. Last week, the Mavericks were 18th in the USCHO.com rankings and received votes in the USA Today poll. The Mavericks did drop out of the weekly power rankings by the website, InsideCollegeHockey.com.
UNO returns to action on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 11 and 12 when they visit the 16th-ranked University of Alaska. Game times on both nights will be 10:05 p.m. CT. All the action can be heard on 90.7 FM, KVNO.
