Hansen Has Early Season Report Card on Maverick Ro

OMAHA, Neb. - With the MIAA season underway, UNO men's basketball coach #Derrin Hansen# is getting a good sense of his team's strengths and weakenesses. He talks about the Mavericks' progress to date in this week's Maverick Roundup presented by Methodist Health System, the official podcast of UNO athletics.
Hansen has his team off to a 6-1 start and a 1-1 record in the MIAA. The Mavericks travel to Northwest Missouri State on Saturday, Dec. 12 before returning home to host York College on Sunday, Dec. 13. The games versus York for both men and women are rescheduled contest after the originally schedule games were postponed by Tuesday's snow.
Also this week, host #Dave Ahlers speaks with forward Rich Purslow and defenseman Eric Olimb# about the UNO hockey team's upcoming road series with Alaska on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 11 and 12.
