OMAHA, Neb. - The Mavericks won 16 games but failed to win a set or match as they fell, 9-0 to 22nd-ranked Southwest Baptist Friday afternoon at Hanscom Tennis Center.
Nebraska-Omaha fell to 3-4 and lost its first MIAA dual of the season. The team will host Midland Lutheran Saturday at 10 a.m. at Koch Tennis Center.
Matt Wisch and James Fonda won three games in their doubles match, falling 8-3 at No. 3 doubles and Matt Frost won four games at No. 4 singles, dropping a 6-2, 6-2 decision.
