Mavericks Baseball Opener Moved To Westside High

OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO baseball team's home opener on Saturday afternoon against the Missouri Southern State University Lions has been moved to Westside High School. The change was made because of unplayable field conditions at the Mavericks' home, the Ballpark at Boys Town.
The time of Saturday's doubleheader has also been pushed back to 3 p.m. Originally, the games had been scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
The Mavericks are 11-8 on the season and 1-3 in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.
