Mar 29, 2009 | General, Softball
The Mavericks have had yet another doubleheader pushed back due to cold and wet weather. Nebraska-Omaha and Nebraska-Kearney will now play Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Kearney instead of Tuesday at 2 p.m.
The MIAA openers for UNO, scheduled for this past weekend, were canceled due to cold and wet fields. The Mavericks were to play at Pittsburg State Friday and then at Missouri Southern Saturday. Those dates were pushed back three days and were finally canceled all together.
The Mavericks will make up the games April 27 at Pittsburg State and April 28 at Missouri Southern. Both doubleheaders will begin at 1 p.m.
The Mavericks have gone 22-5 so far and they've won eight of their last nine.
