Mavericks Reschedule Baseball Games

OMAHA, Neb. – The threat of inclement weather has forced the rescheduling of three home UNO baseball games. The affected games include the Mavericks' Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association series against Fort Hays State University this weekend.
The two schools were originally scheduled to play single games on Friday, April 17 and Sunday, April 19 with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 18. Those four games will now be played as doubleheaders on Sunday, April 19 at 1 p.m. and Monday, April 20 at 12 p.m.
In addition, the Mavericks' road game at Rockhurst University that was postponed on Tuesday, April 14 will be made up on Wednesday, April 29 at 3 p.m. in Kansas City, Mo.
The 16th-ranked Mavericks enter action this weekend with a record of 32-11 and 22-6 in the MIAA, good for second place.
