Mavericks Fall in Home Finale to ESU

OMAHA, Neb. - Matt Frost helped UNO to two points Saturday but the Mavericks fell short, 6-3 against Emporia State at Dewey Tennis Center.
The loss dropped the Mavericks to 6-8 overall and 0-5 in the MIAA. The dual was the final home and MIAA event of the season. Nebraska-Omaha will wrap up the regular season Thursday at Concordia (Neb.) in a 2 p.m. dual.
Frost won at No. 2 doubles with partner Chase Petersen and then he won at No. 1 singles. Marcus Hansen also picked up a point for the Mavs at No. 3 singles.
The Hornets won two of three doubles points and four singles points.
