Mavericks Place Six on All-MIAA Outdoor Track Team

OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO outdoor track and field team had six athletes named to the All-MIAA team. Those athletes named had to finish in the top three in their event or a relay event.
The following athletes were named All-MIAA for the performance in the events indicated:
#Jody-Ann Coore#, Fr., Portmore, Jamaica (400-meter relay)
#Kayla Koepke#, So., Hader, Neb. (400-meter relay)
#Maja Mihalinec#, Fr., Mozirje, Slovenia (100 meters, 200 meters, 400-meter relay)
#Heather Minssen#, Jr., Underwood, Iowa (shot put)
#Shannon Moore#, Jr., Alexandria, Va. (heptathlon, 400 meters, 100-meter hurdles)
#Anja Puc#, So., Medvode, Slovenia (800 meters, 400-meter relay)
The Mavericks finished tied with Central Missouri for third place in the MIAA Outdoor Championship. Missouri Southern took first place while Truman State was the runner up.
