Negrete Named to Academic All-District Team

ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Softball Teams
OMAHA, Neb. - #Melissa Negrete# was named to the CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine all-District 7 second team for her efforts in the classroom and on the field. The junior pitcher has a 3.48 GPA in management information systems.
Negrete is 17-7 this year with a 1.42 ERA heading into the NCAA South Central Region tournament. She was already named second team all-MIAA this year and last year she was named to the North Central Conference Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
The ESPN The Magazine all-district teams are voted on by members of College Sports Information Directors of America.
