Puc Takes Aim at School Record at European Champio

BERGEN, Norway - UNO sprinter #Anja Puc# set a personal best in the 800 meters and ran a time considered a new school record while competing at the European Team Championships on June 20-21. Puc was running for her home country of Slovenia.
The time of 2:05.91 was good for tenth place in the meet. In addition to being faster than her own school record of 2:07.29, it also would be the eleventh fastest time ever run by a Division II runner.
Puc began running the 800 for the first time during the 2008-09 indoor season. She set the school record three different times between the indoor and outdoor season.
