Baseball Alumni Game Needs Players, Golf Outing Fu

OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO baseball team is looking for a few good alumni play play in the recently-revived Alumni Game on Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Ballpark at Boys Town. The game is being played for the first time in about four years.
Those alumni interested in playing should arrive at the field by 9:30 a.m. for stretching. Batting practice begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Alumni vs. Alumni game at 11:30 a.m. After the game, the Diamond Club will provide food and beverages.
A $10 donation is requested of alumni to cover the cost of a UNO baseball t-shirt and post-game refreshments. For more information, please contact Diamond Club Board member Chris Collins at (402) 917-0033.
The UNO baseball team will play an intersquad scrimmage following the alumni festivities at 1:15 p.m.
The Diamond Club has sold out its sixth annual Golf Outing scheduled one day before on Friday, September 11, at Shoreline Golf Course in Carter Lake, Iowa. All of the proceeds from the event go directly to support UNO baseball.
