OMAHA, Neb. – The UNO athletic department announced today that individual game tickets for the Mutual of Omaha Icebreaker tournament will go on sale on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. at the Qwest Center Omaha box office and at the Sapp Fieldhouse box office.
The Mavericks are hosting the traditional season-opening tournament for Division I college hockey for the first time ever on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 9 and 10. Friday's action begins with St. Lawrence University facing the University of Massachusetts-Lowell at 4:35 p.m., followed by UNO against Army at 7:35 p.m. The consolation and championship games follow on Saturday at 4:05 p.m. and 7:05 p.m.
Tickets are $17 for lower bowl sections 120-122, $15 for all other lower bowl sections and $12 for the upper bowl. All tickets will be $2 more when purchased on game day.
In addition, individual game tickets for the Mavericks' exhibition game against the University of Lethbridge on Monday, Oct. 5 also will go on sale on Sept. 17. Ticket prices for that game are the same as the Mutual of Omaha Icebreaker. Youth/student tickets will be $12 for all seats.
Individual game tickets for the remaining home games in the Mavericks' 2009-2010 season will go on sale on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m.
