Garcia Discusses National Duals on Maverick Roundu

OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO wrestling team will be defending one of the titles it earned during its National Championship season a year ago when it takes to the mat in the 2010 NWCA National Duals Championship. Senior Cody Garcia lends his perspective to this challenging meet in this week's Maverick Roundup, the official podcast of UNO athletics.
Garcia is having an outstanding senior season with a 24-0 record and 19 of those wins by fall. He is the second-ranked wrestler in the country at 133 pounds.
UNO assistant hockey coach Nick Fohr also speaks with host #Dave Ahlers# about the Mavericks' return to Qwest Center Omaha for their first home series in more than a month. UNO hosts Alaska on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 8 and 9. He also talks about the gold medal for Team USA and coach Dean Blais at the World Junior Championship.
