Mavericks Host Bowling Green in CCHA Playoffs This

OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO hockey team will host the Bowling Green State University Falcons in the first round of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Playoffs beginning Friday, March 5 at Qwest Center Omaha. Tickets for the best-of-three series are on sale now at UNO's Sapp Fieldhouse box office and at the Qwest Center box office.
Game one of the series is Friday at 7:35 p.m. Game two will be played on Saturday, March 6 at 7:05 p.m. If necessary, game three will be played on Sunday, March 7 at 7:05 p.m.
Saturday's game will feature $1 beers and $1 hot dogs in the Bud Zone area of the Qwest from 6 - 7 p.m.
Tickets are $16 for the lower bowl and $13 for the upper bowl. Tickets purchased on the day of the game within two hours of the opening face off will be charged a $2 premium. Non-UNO student tickets are $13, and UNO students will pay $3 for tickets purchased on game day. Should game three be played on Sunday, tickets will go on sale immediately at the conclusion of Saturday's game at the Qwest Center box office and through TicketMaster.
This is the second meeting of the season between the two teams. UNO earned a tie and a win over the Falcons on Oct. 30 and 31. This also will be the fifth playoff meeting between the two schools. UNO is 5-0 all-time against the Falcons in the postseason.
