Daktronics All-Region Team
Maverick junior guard Tyler Bullock was named to the Daktronics all-South Central Region second team after finishing second in the MIAA in scoring in the regular season.
Bullock, an all-MIAA first-teamer, is averaging 19.2 points a game entering the NCAA tournament. He averaged 20.0 points in UNO's three games in the MIAA Postseason Tournament to earn all-tournament MVP honor.
He's reached double figures in 26 of UNO's 30 games and he's scored 20 or more points 15 times. The 577 points he's scored so far this year is the fourth highest total in UNO single-season history.
Bullock and the Mavericks will being their 12th trip to the NCAA tournament Saturday at 8:30 p.m. against Tarleton State in the South Central regional. Midwestern State will host the eight-team event with the winner advancing to the NCAA Elite 8.
