MIAA Southern Crossover Moved to Emporia

Nebraska-Omaha's five-game tournament in Warrensburg, Mo., has been turned into a three-game event in Emporia, Kan., due to poor field conditions and the threat of bad weather. The Mavericks will play once Thursday night and twice Friday in the MIAA Southern Crossover, now hosted by Emporia State.
The Mavericks will play Missouri Western Thursday at 6 p.m. and Friday they will play Washburn at 9 a.m. and Fort Hays State at 11 a.m. The games will count as non-conference contests.
Nebraska-Omaha improved to 10-6 with a sweep over Lincoln (Mo.) Wednesday night.
