Green and Nash Named to All-MIAA Teams

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - #Alyssa Green was named all-MIAA second team and Jamie Nash# was named to the MIAA all-defensive team as the conference honors were announced Tuesday.
Green, a senior is currently sixth in the MIAA in scoring. She averaged 15.3 points a game and 2.4 assists per game, second best in the league. She reached double figures in scoring in all but two games.
She was an all-MIAA honorable mention last year and an all-North Central Conference honoree her sophomore year.
Nash leads the MIAA with 3.0 steals a game. The freshman had five or more 10 different times with a season-high seven at Fort Hays State on January 27.
The Mavericks also placed two different players on all-conference teams last year, UNO's first year in the MIAA. Nash is the first to be named MIAA all-defensive.
