Haley Named MIAA Pitcher of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - #Beth Haley# got two wins and a save last week to help her earn MIAA pitcher of the week honor, the conference office announced Monday.
Haley went 2-0 with a save in three appearances last week and had a perfect 0.00 ERA.
Friday against Missouri Western, she pitched a complete-game shutout, allowing four hits and no walks. She made two relief appearances Saturday, getting a three-inning win against Washburn and a save in 1 2/3 innings of hitless relief against FHSU.
Haley inherited three runners Saturday, leaving them all on base. She allowed five hits in the three games, all of them singles, and struck out seven with two walks. Opponents batted .119 against her.
