Baseball Series With Emporia State Moved

OMAHA, Neb. - UNO's four-game series with No. 13 Emporia State University has been moved because of rain in the forecast for this weekend. Two doubleheaders, beginning with one on Sunday, March 28 will be played at the Ball Park at Boys Town. Sunday's game one is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start. The teams will finish off the series on Monday, March 29 with game one starting at 12 p.m.
The No. 28 Mavericks come into the series second in the conference standings with an 11-1 league record and are 15-5 overall. The 13th-ranked Hornets are 12-4 in MIAA play, good enough for third place and are 18-6 overall on the year. Game times on Sunday and Monday are subject to change.
