UNO Men's Basketball To Face Michigan State

OMAHA, Neb. – University of Nebraska at Omaha head men's basketball coach #Derrin Hansen# announced today that his team will play an exhibition game against Michigan State on Monday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. ET in East Lansing, Mich.
“This will be a fantastic experience for our players, going up against a program like Michigan State,” said Hansen. “This is a team that has been in six of the last 12 Final Fours and is one of the elite programs in the country. This will be a great learning experience for our players.”
The Spartans were 28-9 last season and lost to upset-minded Butler, 52-50, in the semifinals of the Final Four on April 3. They posted a record of 15-2 at their home arena, the Breslin Student Events Center, last year.
The game will be a homecoming for UNO guard #Torrian Harris# who grew up in nearby Saginaw, Mich. and whose brother, Draymond Green, plays for Michigan State. Green was the Big Ten's Sixth Man of the Year in 2009-10.
