LINCOLN, Neb. - The UNO cross country team took part in its second meet of the season at the Woody Greeno/Nebraska Cross Country Invitational.
Because of injuries, the Mavericks did not have a full compliment of five runners, fielding only four on the six kilometer course.
#Megan Oddo# had UNO's top time for the second straight meet, finishing in 24:24 which was good for 64th place out of 211.
Freshman #Kayla Fenske#, running her first 6K course, posted a time of 25:13 to finish second for UNO and 101st overall. #Nicole Behm# was close behind in a time of 25:40 to come in 118th overall.
#Brittany Phillips#, running her first race of the season, crossed the finish line in a time of 26:48 to finish 152nd.
The Mavericks return to action on Friday, Oct. 1 at the Viking Invitational hosted by Grand View College.
