Mavericks Dip In Weekly Hockey Polls

OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO hockey dropped five places in each of the weekly Division I college hockey polls this week following a tie and a loss against unranked Bemidji State last weekend. The Mavericks are ranked 15th in this week's USA Today/USA Hockey poll and 16th in the latest poll from the web site USCHO.com.
The Mavericks also are ranked 15th in the latest power rankings from the web site InsideCollegeHockey.com, down six spots from last week.
UNO is coming off a 2-2 tie and a 3-2 overtime loss to Bemidji State at home last weekend. The Mavericks are winless in their last four games (0-3-1), their longest winless streak of the season.
UNO is one of five WCHA teams in both polls. North Dakota (2/2), Denver (4/4), Minnesota Duluth (5/5) and Wisconsin (9/9) are the others.
