Bullock Named to All-South Central Region Team

OMAHA, Neb. – Senior guard #Tyler Bullock# was named second-team All-South Central Region for the second straight year, Daktronics announced on Wednesday. Bullock was one of 11 men's basketball student-athletes to garner first- or second-team honors and was one of five MIAA players on the list.
Bullock started all 28 games for the Mavericks and averaged a team-leading 19.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game. The Lincoln, Neb., native scored in double figures in 26 contests -- including 15 straight from Dec. 1 to Feb. 3 – and ranked 47th nationally in scoring and 56th in assists. Bullock was also among the MIAA leaders in multiple statistical categories, ranking second in scoring, fourth in field goal percentage (.485), fifth in assists and seventh in steals and free throw percentage (.802).
Bullock finished his Maverick career with 1,124 career points, becoming the fastest player in school history to join the 1,000 Point Club. His 536 points in 2010-11 was the sixth-highest single-season mark of any player in program history, and he was a two-time first-team All-MIAA selection.
