Bullock Earns All-District Honors From NABC

OMAHA, Neb. – Senior guard #Tyler Bullock# was named All-South Central District by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), the organization announced following the end of conference postseason tournaments.
Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, the teams represent the finest basketball players across the nation. The 88 student-athletes, who hailed from eight districts, advance to the national ballot for the State Farm Coaches' Division II All-America teams, selected by the membership of the NABC.
Bullock started all 28 games for the Mavericks and averaged a team-leading 19.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game. The Lincoln, Neb., native scored in double figures in 26 contests -- including 15 straight from Dec. 1 to Feb. 3 – and ranked 47th nationally in scoring and 56th in assists. Bullock was also among the MIAA leaders in multiple statistical categories, ranking second in scoring, fourth in field goal percentage (.485), fifth in assists and seventh in steals and free throw percentage (.802).
Bullock finished his Maverick career with 1,124 career points, becoming the fastest player in school history to join the 1,000 Point Club. His 536 points in 2010-11 was the sixth-highest single-season mark of any player in program history, and he was a two-time first-team All-MIAA selection.
