Mavericks Finish Season 14th in Both National Poll

OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO hockey team concluded the college hockey season in the top 15 of both national Division I polls. The Mavericks ranked 14th in both the USCHO.com poll and the USA Today/USA Hockey poll.
UNO spent 22 weeks ranked among the top 15 teams ranked by USA Today/USA Hockey, their longest ever stretch in the national rankings. The Mavericks also spent 24 weeks in the USCHO.com poll. The latter poll ranks the top 20 teams nationally.
The Mavericks achieved their highest ranking in team history when they spent three straight weeks in November ranked fourth. Overall, they spent 13 straight weeks in the top 10.
The Mavericks are one of five WCHA teams ranked in the USA Today poll, the most teams from one conference. UNO is also one of five WCHA teams in the USCHO.com. The others include national champion Minnesota Duluth (1), North Dakota (2/3), Denver (7) and Colorado College (11).
