MIAA North Crossover Softball Tournament Canceled

The MIAA North Crossover that the UNO softball team was scheduled to compete in this weekend in Kirksville, Mo., has been canceled because of poor weather and field conditions.
The tournament schedule was originally changed on Thursday to just play games on Saturday and Sunday, but heavy rains and the unplayable field conditions at Kirksville's North Park forced host school Truman to cancel the competition altogether. The games would not have counted in the MIAA standings and will not be made up.
UNO's next doubleheader is at Lincoln on April 22 in Jefferson City, Mo.
